No. ClearCOGS never writes to your POS, edits your menu, or changes how orders move through Xenial. It builds the plan from sales history and delivers it outside the POS, so terminals, kitchen screens, and reports keep working as before.
ClearCOGS works with major POS systems including Toast, Square, and Oracle Simphony. Data moves one way, from the POS into the forecast, and nothing is written back. For Xenial, the ClearCOGS team scopes the data path with you before kickoff, then builds the forecast from your own sales history.
ClearCOGS deployments typically go live about three weeks from kickoff. No hardware to install and no retraining on Xenial: managers simply start receiving the daily plan by email.
