Booked events belong in the prep plan, not in a manager’s head.

Tripleseat handles the booking. ClearCOGS builds each location’s daily prep, ordering and labor plan from POS history, and a confirmed event logged as known demand is accounted for in that plan.

Event bookings and the daily plan, side by side.

Tripleseat books and runs private events, group dining and catering. ClearCOGS, the Decision Intelligence platform for restaurants, forecasts each location’s demand from its POS sales history and turns it into tomorrow’s prep, ordering and labor plan. There is no data connection between the two. Once a confirmed Tripleseat booking is logged as known demand, the next day’s plan accounts for it.

What we work with

ClearCOGS builds the daily plan from your POS sales history, plus weather, local events and seasonality. It works with major POS systems including Toast, Square, and Oracle Simphony through one-way read access.

Restaurants
How it runs alongside Tripleseat

No data feed runs between the two systems. Confirmed events and catering orders are logged as known demand, and each location’s prep plan accounts for them.

Seamless Integration
What changes inside Tripleseat: nothing

No new workflow in Tripleseat, no exports, no retraining. The one new habit is logging a confirmed booking as known demand; managers keep working from the same daily prep sheet, which now accounts for it.

FAQ

ClearCOGS Compatible means ClearCOGS works alongside Tripleseat at restaurants that use it; it is not a formal partnership. Neither system connects to the other, and this page is not endorsed by Tripleseat.

No. Nothing connects the two systems. ClearCOGS builds its plan from POS sales history; confirmed Tripleseat events and catering orders are logged as known demand so the prep plan accounts for them.

A large order rung through the register looks like a busy Tuesday in the sales history. Unless it is tagged and kept out of the in-store baseline, a forecast built on that history over-preps the Tuesdays that follow. Logging confirmed catering as separate known demand keeps the baseline honest.

Book a meeting. ClearCOGS takes one-way read access to your POS and builds each location’s forecast; most operators are live in about three weeks. Tripleseat stays as it is.
